While perusing Deviant Art, I came upon this piece. I find it both epic and awesome. According to Wikipedia, a "Kachina" is a sort of demi-god worshiped by the Hopi and Zuni Indians that brings life. They can be represented through elements, dolls, animals and more. The coloring and proportions of this Squash Kachina, the guardian or life bringer of gourds, are quite masterful.
